Kintsugi is one of Japan's traditional art-crafts, and a technique for repairing ceramics
that has been practiced since ancient times.
It is a sense of value that the Japanese have for a long time, and by repairing cracked or chipped ceramics that have been cherished until now with golden joint, it is connected to
the spirit of "wabi-sabi", which means "finding beauty in imperfection."
The spirit of valuing modern "things," upcycling them, giving them new life in beauty, and using them another long time has been gaining attention both in Japan and overseas in recent years.

For those who do not currently have broken pottery but would like to experience Kintsugi, broken pottery can be prepared here as an option, so please let us know in advance if you need it.
